STAGES IN SURROGACY ARRANGEMENT

STAGE I

Signing of a service contract, review of documents submitted, payment of relevant fees, acquiring medical records, identification of suitable doctors, analysis of the varied treatment options, arranging a surrogate mother, selecting available/pre-screened sperm/egg donors and finalising the whole surrogacy package.

STAGE III

Taking care of the surrogate mother after confirmation of pregnancy, looking after her health, medicines, regular check-ups and diet until delivery of the child. In case intended parents are foreign nationals then they have to travel to India for the delivery and receive the child at birth.

STAGE II

Medical tests of intended parents and surrogate mother, signing of surrogacy agreements, embryo transfer, synchronizing cycles to match the ideal time for egg retrieval and embryo transfer. Finally, confirmation of pregnancy.

STAGE IV

Receiving new born child's birth certificate and hospital records, handing the same over to the parents, DNA testing if required/applicable, Following up on all the necessary formalities for applying and obtaining child's passport, visa and exit permit.
